Written and directed by Pantelis Peter Roumanis from a short story by acclaimed writer Ben Marcus, this intelligent, meticulous short is a fascinating family chamber drama, told with an observant, almost clinical eye.  

A documentary short following American photographer Gioncarlo Valentine by New York City-based director Luis G. Santos. “The Beautiful Confusion” observes Valentine at work as he discusses the many trials and tribulations that affect successful Black artists in this generation.
